Next Regular Commission Meeting - Virtual
Friday, April 7, 2023 at 1 p.m.
Since 1938, the Commission has consisted of these same members: the Lieutenant Governor, the State Controller, and the Governor’s Director of Finance. The combination of the two principal financial officers of the state with two statewide elected officials ensures that decisions made by the Commission are fiscally sound and in the best interests of the state. Public awareness and participation are assured because Commission actions occur at properly noticed public meetings.

Instructions on how to join the Zoom meeting and provide public comment.
The Commission holds public meetings throughout the year at different locations. In accordance with the Bagley-Keene Open Meeting Act, all Commission meetings are public. Every meeting is publicly noticed with an agenda posted at least ten-days prior to the meeting. In addition, staff reports are prepared for each item and posted on the Commission’s website once they are finalized. The Commission may only take action on items that are described on the agenda.
All meetings start at 1 p.m. unless otherwise noted. Commission meeting dates, times, and locations are subject to change. Special meetings may be scheduled with ten days of public notice. Meeting locations will be announced as they become available. All persons having applications or other business before the Commission will be automatically notified in accordance with state open meeting laws.
Public Participation
The public is encouraged to participate in the Commission’s decision-making process. You can do this by attending the public meetings or by submitting a written comment before the meeting. Please submit written comments at least three business days prior to the meeting so the Commissioners have sufficient time to review your comment prior to the meeting.
If your comment is related to an item on the agenda, please include that item number in the subject line. If your comment is not on a specific item, please specify the area or project of concern.
