Tonight’s sponsor (and bartender) is Stewart Port and he will be opening the club by 5 and folks are welcome anytime after that for drinks and random conversation. He might even put on a pot of lentil soup. If you do go in person, put Stewart's name as your sponsor, and introduce yourself.
At this meeting we would like to hear from everyone (1) that they like and want to adopt the name Liveaboards United! (we haven't really even established that yet) (2) That (or whether) they would like to operate as an unincorporated association (UI) and (3) with the umbrella 501c3 available (SF Bay Marinas for All, Inc.) as a non profit sponsor (we don't have to operate under that name but could avail ourselves of it as a nonprofit sponsor and (4) we'd like to set a strategy for our objectives (so identifying those for certain and how to go about it).
The meeting will start at 7 pm but the Bay View Boat Club already opens at 5 pm so if you like come early.
